Folders

If you want to organise your files better, you can create folders and upload tracks into them. For example you can create a folder called "dubplate one" and upload files there, and then create another folder for the next dub and so on (click "options").

Notes

If you want to leave comments for each track, you can type in the column where it says "additional description" and an email will be sent to the studio with details of the upload and the comment for each track (you must do this before you click "upload").

Files gone?

If you uploaded some files when you placed your order, and they are no longer showing in the dropbox, its probably because we have downloaded them and prepped them for cutting. Once this is done we remove the files from the server.

Instant Expert: Loudness Metering

Here are two great videos from Dorrough about loudness metering. They give a good practical explanation of the difference between VU meters, and their loudness meters. They also help to explain the difference between average levels and peak levels, and what affect compression can have on dynamic range. Enjoy!
